1.2 Million Dollar Black Ruby Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe

Feb 27 2010 Published by admin under Uncategorized

DC Design’s Indian couchbuilder Dilip Chhabria designed this one and only $1.2 million “Black Ruby” Rolls Royce Coupe. The “Black Ruby” is exactly what happens when you cross a Rolls Royce Phantom with a Nissan 350Z. With a ‘one of a kind’ design, the one-off “Black Ruby” adds to its uniqueness with butterfly doors and a red interior. The all black coupe was initially created upon the request of an Indian Maharaja (king), but it must have become undesirable because it is now up for grabs.

Can you believe someone actually paid ($104,327,006) for this burnt sculpture of a walking anorexic man? Well, the sculpture isn’t actually burnt, but it sure looks like it. The piece is titled “L’Homme Qui Marche I”( Walking Man I) and was sculpted by Swiss/Italian artist Alberto Giacometti in 1961. After a fierce bidding war at the Sotheby’s London “Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale” auction, the bronze sculpture was sold to an anonymous rich person for a world record $104.3 million.

Good Lo Days From an Old New Yorker.

Feb 04 2010 Published by admin under Uncategorized

Here is a interesting story about fashion and life in general from a Old New yorker ; Circa early 90’s.

One thing I can say for sure about the Old New York I know about is that we always set standards for the rest of the world weather its music, fashion, dance or anything that has to do with culture. All over the world people copy what we do. Especially when it comes to shit like hip hop which is most definitely a BIG part of that Old New York flavor. Back in the day, I’d say BK was ahead of the game as far as niggas dress’n dip & shit and they was gully about how they got their gear too. Motha fuckas would bum rush stores and clear racks and run out with it all. I mean it was nuts, fuck’n straight nuts.
